Shipmates,
I would like to wish you and your family a safe and happy holiday season. It has been a privilege to serve you as president these past two years, and we hope that each experience at the reunion and with NANP was exceptional.
It has been a remarkable year for NANP and Naval Photography. We celebrated the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Photographers Mate rating in Pensacola, the birthplace of Naval Photography and the home for over 50 years of the photo schoolhouse. Naval Photography has come a long way since many of us attended school in building 1500. But Navy Photography is still alive and thriving in today’s fleet. We are the legacy of all the active duty MC’s today. Let’s continue to encourage and strive to support the active duty Sailors.
The holiday season is a time for reflection. Let’s all be grateful for the friends and family we have with us today. Celebrate with your loved ones and enjoy the Christmas spirit and take time to remember shipmates deployed around the world.
Here’s wishing you the best Christmas and New Year.
Merry Christmas
NANP Board of Directors
