The NANP database started well before the NANP was created. It is a living document, always growing from discovered old files, and of course, from those who either join NANP or just want their name, contact info, and career history captured for historical documentation. This list of 3,500+ names is just a small fraction of all who served as Navy Photographers since the 1940’s era and beyond.
This is one of the primary reasons this site exists. We try to maintain an accurate list of past and present members of the photographic community. This is not limited to NANP Members. This list is for anyone that has ever served in a photographic unit, regardless of rank, rate, civilian, reserve, or active duty. If you were a storekeeper attached to FAPL Barbers Point in 1956 we want your name in this database! E
For personal security reasons, we cannot publish all information due to the website being publicly accessible. If you see a city and town in the last column, that means we have an address and likely a phone number/email address in the master database. If your contact information has changed or the list doesn’t show your ‘years of service’ – please navigate to the Membership Application page and choose “update my information”. If you notice errors in our database or have knowledge of someone who has deceased, please contact the Database Manager at JerryWBillings@Gmail.com.
If you desire access to the complete list, which includes contact information, in order to find shipmates or conduct association business, please contact the NANP Webmaster or the NANP Database Manager via the Contacts Page. After verifying the validity of your request, the appropriate list will be emailed to you.
The Photographers Past and Present list, linked below, is published quarterly approximately around March, June, September, and December. Any changes you input to the list will be reflected in the next published list.
