Proposal Made

Change NANP Bylaws reducing number of Directors from three down to two

Please vote yes or no on the following proposal at bottom of the page

A proposal was made to change the NANP Bylaws reducing the number of Directors from our current system of three down to two.

Rationale: Our current system of three Directors worked well with annual reunions. But, with declining membership and biennial reunions, the three Director system is not working. Currently, we only have two Directors, because there was no 2025 reunion to elect a Director for years 2026, 2027, 2028. Eliminating one of the Director positions, reducing down to two Directors (not counting the Lifetime Director or Director Active Duty Liaison) and making the Director’s term of service four years vice three would resolve this issue. Each reunion going forward, we would select one new Director to serve a four year term (two years as Junior Director and two years as Senior Director.)
