  1. I graduated Pensacola’s Avition Photo school (as a Marine) in June 1949. Went on to Camera Repairand graduated in Sept. 1949. Do you have any members from that era?

    1. Joe,

I recommend you submit your name and military history via the membership application even if you only want to add your name to the list of Navy Photographers. It’s free. Although it would be great if you would like to join the organization too.

      Here’s the link. https://navyphoto.net/wp/membership/membership-application/

Once you have your name on the roster, I can sent you the list of photographers that we have. There are well over 3000 Navy and Marine photographers on the list. I’m sure there are military photographers from your era on the list.

Sorry I can’t just send you the list, but due to privacy concerns we are careful who we share the list with.

  2. Always enjoy reading NANP el.newsletters. Seattle sounds like a great venue for the meeting.
I looked at In Memorial. My husband is not listed. I sent a copy of his
Obit. Who do I contact regarding the In Memorium list? He was a lifetime member of NANP – PhCM George C. Snyder
    Thanks for your help.

    1. I’m the one who takes care of the website. I apologize that your husbands name wasn’t on the In Memorial page. Sometimes the information doesn’t filter down to me. That oversight has been corrected.

  3. hey there Joe, you should join the Facebook named “Navy Photographers” there are quite a few from your era active on there!

  4. Hello… I would like to know if I completed my application for a year’s membership in the National Association of Naval Photography. I seem to recall that I did, but I cannot locate a confirmation email. I will be attending my first reunion later this month in Seattle and want to attend the general meeting of members.

I look forward to your response…
    Tom
