Some history!. Went into the Navy in 1966, boot camp in San Diego, reported aboard the USS Princeton(an aircraft carrier at the time), passed exam for E4 Photographer’s Mate, and later passed exam for E5 (PH2). Two and one half tours off the coast of Vietnam. Left the Navy in 1970( they really tried to get me to stay in). Returned to San Diego State, and graduated with a B.S. Degree in business management in 1974. Ended up working for the Boeing company from 1980 to 2004. I’am now collecting Social Security, a Boeing Pension, and I get some $ from the Veterans Administration. Now 74, and living in Hawaii.
I don’t like the idea of the USS Princeton being a missle cruiser, and I don’t like the idea, that the Navy got rid of the Photographer’s Mate classification
